SXSW Tour Recovery

We’re back from a 20 day tour from Boston to Austin (for SXSW) and back. We’re suffering post SXSW symptoms: we’re sleep deprived, missing live music, food trucks and BBQs. We learned a lot, made some great connections, saw some incredible music, witnessed some innovative marketing strategies, and loved every second of it.

Highlights Include: Herra Terra setting up full band with lights inside a tour bus and making a music video, eating delicious BBQ in Tennessee and Austin, watching Tycho outside under a tent, and the BMI/Billboard breakfast at the Four Seasons!

You can check out some tour photos on Herra Terra’s Instagram feed

Gearing Up for a SXSW Tour

Marcus is gearing up to leave to Tour Manage Herra Terra for a month long tour from Boston to Austin and back (3/3 – 3/30). Honor Roll has played a vital part in the booking of this tour. HT has a few showcases down in Austin for the annual SXSW Festival. Check out the dates below and let us know if you’ll be in the area. Come out and have a drink with us!

Happy Holidays & Thank You!

We’re gearing up for 2011 with some big things in mind! We’d just like to say thank you to everyone who came out to a show this year and all the bands we’ve booked. In 2011, we’re looking to get a new website (including a Blog with free tips!), another Open Road Music & Arts Festival to happen in Worcester, and many more great local shows!

Happy Holidays to you and your families! See you in 2011!

Attn: Metal Heads & Hardcore music lovers

Come out to support touring metal/hardcore bands at Ralph’s Diner tomorrow night. Magna Mater, Last Chance To Reason, Iron Thrones, Hero Destroyed, and HIVESMASHER for $6. Get your Tuesday night metal boots on!

Funk. Free Whiskey. Dancing.

Funk. Free whiskey. Dancing. These aren’t just words. They’re an equation. This Friday night, September 10, at Worcester’s Lucky Dog, you better get out your tin foil hats, ‘cause the mother ship is coming!

Opening up the evening will be local West Boylston metal heads, Crumb, sure to make your 90’s head banger flow swing like some sort of Dutch windmill. And to make sure, they brought along some Cabin Fever whiskey for those who arrive early, FOR FREE! Metal and whiskey: what’s better?

Due next is the sweetest funk from Worcester, White Chocolate. And they’ve promised to “make you do that dance you’ve been waiting to do all week!”
But the main event, dropped down from the original starship, tear the roof off any motha sucka they play under. Danny Bedrosian & Secret Army, featuring members of the original Parliament Funkadelic, play authentic booty groovin’, space aged tunes that’ll make even tempered need these.

So if you’re in need of some good tunes, good FREE whiskey and some good funky vibes, come to Lucky Dog this Friday. You won’t leave unimpressed. The show is 21+, $10 at the door and starts at 9pm. You can RSVP on Facebook too!

Open Road Music & Arts Festival

We’re busy planning our first annual and fully sustainable Open Road Music and Arts festival at Institute Park in beautiful Worcester, Massachusetts on September 4th, 2010. Bands will be announced shortly, so check out the website and get informed.

April 22nd will rock your face off.

What do you normally do on Thursday nights?
Well, on Thursday, April 22nd, that will change. Come out to Tammany Hall to check out some great Boston bands and 1 awesome central MA band. On the rock n roll burner we have Attack The City, The Art of Attraction, Tomorrow’s War, and Await Rescue. Doors are at 9pm and its $7.

Be warned: you may start singing along to these bands by the end of the night.
